Using Market Radar #
Market Radar helps you determine if you should pursue a specific niche based on real-time search results from the search term or ASIN input. By either a search term or ASIN input, Ailumia’s AI model expands these search terms or ASINs in the form of top-searched keywords with semantic similarity and captures the results of these keywords to form a product niche.
You can use these data points to discover new niche product opportunities and validate these ideas with the analytics provided.
Here’s how you can get started:
- From the left-hand navigation panel, click AI Tools → Market Radar
- Select your marketplace from the dropdown menu
- Next, you can either choose an ASIN/s or search term/s to fill in the search box
- Click Search and wait for the results to be generated

Understanding the Data #
The Opportunity Score is an in-house algorithm that helps you quickly gauge the opportunity of a niche.
You will see this score at the very top right of the results page.
The Opportunity Score factors in the demand for a product according to units sold, competition, or the number of sellers, as well as the ease of ranking within top searched keywords.
The scale is from 1 to 10 where 1 is the lowest opportunity and 10 is the highest.
1-3 Opportunity Score → There is little opportunity to enter markets where the score is this low. Low scores indicate not enough demand or too much competition.
4-5 Opportunity Score → These may be good products but need more research. Try searching using alternate phrases and re-check the opportunity scores as you go.
6-10 Opportunity Score → These are the best opportunities, and you’ll want to start digging into these products more. Add the top results to your Product Tracker and check back on the results often.
Since the Opportunity Score uses constantly changing data (sales and competition) to determine the score, it can also change over time.
The Opportunity Score uses data from all listings displayed when you run the Extension. You can remove listings or extract the next pages of results, which will also change the Opportunity Score. You can use this function to narrow down the results to very specific product listings and get an idea of the opportunity that exists.
The expanded keywords section shows all the similar keywords used to collect similar product listings.
You may remove unwanted keywords by checking and clicking Remove from the top right drop-down menu or Recover if you’ve changed your mind.
This will then prompt a recalculation of the Opportunity Score.
The brand revenue pie chart demonstrates the market structure of the product niche by showing each brand’s revenue share. The more monopolistic a market could mean a higher brand sensitivity.
The product filter and product list section lets you view and filter the product sample list to your preferences. You may filter by price, monthly sales, BSR, # of reviews, ratings or keywords. Alternatively, you can simply check off the products from the list and remove them. This too, will prompt a recalculation of the Opportunity Score.
